Resp. 12/18 individual spike sections roll over the ground. They vibrate excentrically, due to the driven central cam shaft.
This makes that the spikes penetrate in hard areas and leave a nice hole.
Depth 0-75 mm ( 1-3"), upto 500 holes/ sq.metre. Working widths 1.10/ 1.60 mtr (44"/64"). Weight resp. 140/200 kg  (300/440 lbs)

TRACTOR MOUNTED VIBE DRUM-CORER .
The Vibe Drum-Drum corer is an unique coring decive, because the hollow tines vibrate during rolling over the ground.
This vibration is created by the centrally mounted cam shaft, which is driven by the PTO.
